Staff Reporter: Popular Dhallywood actress Yamin Haque Bobby has recently been at the center of intense gossip claiming she secretly married a businessman named Mirza Abul Bashar Mamun. However, Bobby has firmly denied the rumors, calling them “completely baseless.”

The speculation spread further after the businessman was arrested by police — and several reports referred to him as Bobby’s “alleged husband.”

Addressing the matter, Bobby said,

“All those reports are false. If I start responding to every rumor, it will only give them more publicity. I only discussed a restaurant business project with that person — nothing more. If anyone tries to use my name for defamation again, I’ll take legal action.”

Earlier, during the pre-production phase of the film Nolok, Bobby developed a romantic relationship with producer-director Sakib Sonet. When the film was released in 2019, the two were openly in love. At first, they kept their relationship private, but soon it became an open secret.

Eventually, both Bobby and Sakib Sonet publicly admitted to being in a relationship and even hinted at marriage in 2023. However, the couple gradually went silent, fueling speculation that they had broken up.

When asked about the rumored breakup, Bobby brushed it off, saying,

“That’s all from a long time ago — during the Nolok days. I don’t even remember if I said anything about it back then.”

Responding to a question about her current relationship status, the actress confirmed,

“No, I’m not seeing anyone right now. I’m fully focused on my work. There was something in the past, but not anymore — though we’re still friends.”

Recently, Bobby returned from a trip to Australia and is now busy shooting her upcoming film Tachanch, directed by Badiul Alam Khokon. The film stars producer Munna Khan alongside Bobby, with supporting roles played by Misha Sawdagor, Deepa Khandakar, and Jayaraj.
